Access to the AU-UV beam line
Anyone is welcome to apply for beam time to carry out experiments on the AU-UV beam line. There is an annual call for proposals towards the end of each year and beam time is allocated based on the recommendations of an external panel. However some time is set aside to allow for new or test experiments, so you should contact the beam line scientists to see if it is possible to accommodate you.
If you are interested in submitting a proposal to apply for beam time on ASTRID2 and have not done so before, we recommend that you contact a beam line scientist first to discuss your project.
