Abstracts

All participants presenting an oral contribution or a poster are asked to submit an abstract. Please make sure your abstract is submitted before the Abstract Submission deadline: Friday 16th September 2011.


The title of the abstract should be written in bold 14 pt Arial and centred on the page

Abstracts should be "camera ready" and fit on one page (A4). For uniformity reasons, we recommend use of single-line spacing, Arial and 10 pt. The page must have margins of 3 cm on the left-hand and right-hand sides, while the top and bottom margins should be 2.5 cm. All text, figures etc. must remain within these margins. Abstracts can contain graphics, but please bear in mind that they will be reprinted in black and white, not colour. Do not include any page numbers or text in the header or footer sections of the page.

The abstracts should be submitted as a MS Word document, by e-mail (with subject heading Abstract Submission – own name) to .


For organisational purposes please give your abstract a filename according to the following structure: AAAA-BBBB-X.doc (or docx)
Where:

  • AAAA is either "Talk" or "Poster" to say what the abstract is for
  • BBBB is your Surname
  • X should only be included if you are submitting more than one abstract of that type
An example of this would be: Poster-Bishop-1.docx

The book of abstracts will be available online here, after the conference.
