Introduction:

This document gives an overview of the supported hardware in ConSys.

DeviceList - Data Acquisition Control:

• PLC systems

  • Beckhoff BK9000/BC9000 Ethernet Bus Coupler

• CAMAC systems

  • Hytec 5331 PCI controller

• VME systems

  • Accessing WME using a WienerWME PCI controller

   

DeviceList - General Purpose Instruments:

• GPIB control

  • HP331210a 15 MHz Function / Arbitrary Waveform Generator.

  • Rohde&Schwartz SMY01 Signal Generator.

  • HP4195A Network/Spectrum Analysator. Special device for reading out the four input alternating at a specific frequency. (Used for reading out the four buttons of a button pickup.)

• Serial (RS232) control

  • Keithley 6514 .

  • Rohde&Schwartz SML03 Signal Generator.

  • Thermionics Northwest, inc. Stepper Motor Controller.

  • Veenstra Instruments VRM 202 Area Monitor (for ionising radiation).

DeviceList - Special Data Acquisition Control:

• IFA G64: The standard IO control at ISA.

• MSL G64: The standard IO control at MSL.

• Instek GDS 820C osciloscope (Readout of microtron pulse parameters).

DeviceList - Special Devices:

• StorageDevice: Special device for hardware less parameters.

• MailDevice: Storage device for system mails. Used by the CSMail program to send e-mails from the control system.

• StateDevice: Machine state monitoring device. Maintains tree based machine state structures. The state trees can be monitored and edited with the StateMonitor program.
