A meeting entitled "Synchrotrons, Accelerators and
Laboratory Astrophysics" will take place between the 30th August and the
1st September 2000 at the University of Aarhus, Denmark. The workshop is
sponsored by the European Round Table for Synchrotron Radiation Laboratories
and
also by the Aarhus Centre for Atomic Physics (ACAP).
Sessions include topics involving the chemical nature
of the interstellar medium, the contribution of laboratory astrophysics,
synchrotron and accelerator studies of ion-molecule reactions and electron-ion
recombination, photophysics of molecules in space, solid state astrophysics
and large molecules in space, including studies of meteorites and topics
related to the extraterrestrial origin of prebiotic molecules.
Speakers who have accepted invitations to take part
are Ewine van Dishoeck (Leiden), Tom Millar (UMIST), André Brack
(Orleans), Dolores Gauyacq (Universite Paris-Sud), Hanspeter Helm (Freiburg),
