The workshop will be supported by:

  • ESF Programme Electron Induced Processing at the Molecular Level -Ministry of Science and Environmental protection of Serbia -Academy of Sciences and Arts of Serbia and Institute of Physics project 141025
  • COE Non-equilibrium processes in plasma physics and environmental science -COE Optical and Electronic Device Technology for Access Network (Keio University)

20-25 invited speakers from outside Belgrade will have support for their accommodation and  meals and a small, partial support for travel.

Other registered participants will bear cost of their accommodation and meals.

The programme will be adjusted and a poster session may be introduced if there is interest.

Programme will consist of general invited lectures (45 minutes), topical invited lectures (30 minutes) and oral presentations or progress reports (15 minutes).

A round table discussion: "Network of Excellence between EU and Japan in the era of globalization" will be organized.

Lectures will be organized at The Serbian Academy of sciences and arts in Belgrade (First Floor Hall II and Hall III) and at the Institute of Physics in Belgrade.

All participants are expected to prepare an abstract of  2-4 pages A4 format and send it before 31st of January 2007. A book containing lectures written as review articles and progress reports will be published after the workshop and the details will be announced.

Accommodation:

Accommodation for Invited Speakers will be organized at Hotel Palace in Belgrade which is 200 m from the Academy. Alternative accommodation at 25-29 Euros per night may be arranged at hotel Royal which is also within the walking distance from the Academy.
