How to reach the EPS

European Physical Society address:

6, rue des Frères Lumière
(on Université de Haute Alsace campus site)
68200 Mulhouse
Tel +33 3 89 32 94 40
www.eps.org

From the airport:
Leave the arrival area of the EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse at the French passport control,  otherwise you will find yourself in Switzerland.

Taxis to Mulhouse are expensive (about 35 € to downtown and 45 € to the University campus where the meeting takes place), so we recommend the bus, unless time is short. The EuroAir’Bus shuttle would also take you to Mulhouse train station in 30 minutes and costs 7 Euros (www.euroairport.com)

From your hotel:
(the Hôtel du Parc, www.hotelduparc-mulhouse.com, e-mail : hotel.du.parc@gofornet.com)

Take either a taxi to the EPS 6 rue des Frères Lumière (just after the building of the Faculté des Sciences et Techniques righthand) (barrier code 2411A) or a regular bus (line 18 : from the Railway Station, not far away from the hotel, towards University, bus-stop ‘Centre Sportif’’ then upwards 2 mn walk)

From the train station:
Take a taxi outside the station –ask for Université, 2 rue des Frères Lumière, bâtiment de la Présidence or Maison de l’Université- (low red brick building), 10 Euros approx., 5 minutes. Or take bus number 18 and get out at the stop ‘Centre Sportif’. Buy your ticket from the driver, 1.15 Euros, 20 mins.

By car:
You need to get to the UHA campus, so if you find yourself in the centre of Mulhouse,
head for ‘Université’.

If you are on the A35/A36, take the exit number 16A.
Then keep direction ‘Didenheim/Brunstatt’, instead of turning for Brunstatt, go direction ‘Mulhouse-Centre’, then towards ‘Université’.
Rue des Frères Lumière starts in the roundabout ‘Maurice and Katia Krafft’.

The EPS building is approximately half-way up of the rue des frères Lumière and righthand.
