ISA meeting

Week 23, June 3, 1997.

Status of the ring: Everything has been running well last week. This week we are running accelerated D⁺ and possibly H^- for the electron cooling group. So far, it is going well, although no cooling has been seen up to now.
Håkan Danared from MSI/Stockholm will visit the group Thursday and Friday.

Welcome to Rene Warthoe, who will be working in the mechanical workshop. Rene is paid 50% by ISA and 50% by ACAP.

The EBIS has got a new cathode, and is currently being baked. We should be able to test it again next week.

The electron cavity will be sent out of the house to have all flanges renovated. It should be ready for reassembly next week.
