Week 20, May 13, 1997.

Status of the ring: We have started Ion Run 1/97, and are currently running ¹³⁸Ba^- for TA & Co, The separator and ring are running well, but we have a few problems with the neutral detector in corner 4.

The positron beamline is now being mounted. According to JM, it is proceeding according to schedule. The microtron is still not ready, but will be so when the positron beamline is there, which is expected to be in about three weeks.

Our server has some problems with the NT-version which is installed, so the problems we mentioned last week will not be solved right now. TW has ordered a new one, and expect it to be at least three weeks before the server can be reinstalled. We have to be patient concerning print problems etc. until then.
