• Alta Vista is a great search place.
• YAHOO is a good WWW database.
• JUBII is the danish WWW database.
• 009 is the danish telephone catalog from ITCOM.
• danmark.dk is Denmarks official homepage, where information from the authorities can be found.
• You can find a lot of information about Denmark and its cities on City.Net Denmark, espically good for travel.
• Danish Information Servers. Maintained by DENet.
• Search on a specific product can be done at KOMPASS.
• The IFA Computer Related list of WWW servers.

Companies on the net

• Hardware:
• National Instruments produce a graphical programming language (LabView) and different computer cards. (There is a mailing list for Labview, which also has a web page.
• HP is also on the net.
• Edmund Scientific has a lot of good and cheap scientific equipment.
• Bergoz manufacture current transformers and other equipment for storage rings.
•  
• Software:
• Most of ours computers are bought at alcotini.
• We use a lot of products from Microsoft. Their NT4.0 compatibility list is quite usefull.
• For software revision we use RCM developed by Henrik Bærbak Christensen, Daimi.
• Engberg is a company selling different scientific equepment like computer cards and different scientific software.
• We buy a lot of our software at PowerTeam.
• Netscape Navigator .
• Synergy Software - KaleidaGraph for Windows is a nice plotting program.

• Other:
• Danmarks Statestik.
• Alt om Data is a danish computer magasine.
• Sektornet
• Tele Danmark Home Page with among other things a E-mail catalog (danish).

• Aarhus Webben is a nice place with a lot of information about Århus.

• The ConSys dokumentation is still usefull to me, even though it is a bit outdated.
