Call for Proposals: January 2022-December 2022
Deadline for submission of ISA proposals: 8th November 2021
The call for proposals for beam time in 2022 is CLOSED
ISA welcomes applications from national or international groups, for access to any ISA research facility for the period January-December 2022.
The majority of the available beam time (ISA schedule 2022) will be distributed on an annual basis by an independent users selection panel, based on scientific merit. Hence all users are requested to submit a proposal and beam time request form for the period January 2022-December 2022 to ISA, by the 8th of November 2021. As ISA is no longer receiving EU funding for support, apart from MOSBRI funded access to the AU-SRCD beam line (see below), we will give some priority to users from Aarhus University and other Danish users.
The remaining beam time will be distributed during the year to new proposals, test experiments and approved experiments.
Previously awarded beam time.
While last year we allowed previous proposals with un-used beam time to be deferred without submission of a new proposal, this year we have decided that ALL requests for beam time for 2022 must be supported by a new proposal submission.
Access will be supported for use of the synchrotron-radiation beam lines at ASTRID2.
For some beam lines and experiments it may be possible for projects to be carried out via sample mail-in or via remote access. If you have any questions regarding this option or the availability of a beam line during the course of this proposal period, please contact the relevant beam line scientist as listed below. EU support
Unfortunately ISA is no longer able to provide support for beam time on ASTRID2 now that the EC funded CALIPSOplus project has finished. |
|
However, some users of the AU-SRCD beam line (circular dichroism) do have the option to apply for supported beam time through MOSBRI, a new EC funded programme which runs until June 2025. If you are eligible and wish to apply for this, you do not need to submit a proposal through ISA, simply visit www.mosbri.eu and follow the instructions for application there. However, if you wish to have additional beam time (not covered by MOSBRI), then you should submit an ISA proposal. |
