European Winter School on Theoretical Methods Latest News (04/03-05): The European Winter School on Theoretical Methods for EPIC took place on Feb 14-18 at the J Heyrovsky Institute in Prague. This meeting was supported by the EU Training Network 'Electron and Positron Induced Chemistry' (EPIC) and the European Science Foundation Programme 'Electron Induced Processing at the Molecular Level (EIPAM)' The organisers of the meeting have set up a website for the meeting where you can download *.pdf or *.ppt files of the talks and find further details including a report from the meeting, a list of those who participated and photographs. AIMS of the meeting:
Structure of the Meeting: Since the aim of the meeting is to be able to interact among ourselves and to ask the sort of questions that are not asked in more formal seminars, we want to allow plenty of time for each talk and its following discussion. We have also agreed on not to have any talks on Wednesday, with the idea of having time to rest or to split into smaller discussion groups. Each one-hour talk includes quarter an hour discussion. Accommodation: The EPIC/EIPAM project covers the accommodation for young EPIC/EIPAM participants in the Hotel DUO in Prague from Sunday the 13th up to Saturday 19th February 2005. Please, specify your room type and arrival/departure dates to Vincent Brems. If you want to stay in Prague longer, on-line reservation and contacts can be found at http://www.hotelduo.cz/index.php Arrival: We have added a few details about how to get from Prague airport "Ruzyne" to the hotel DUO. There are 3 restaurants in the hotel. Our dinners will take place in Restaurant Galerie.
