Radiation Damage in Biomolecular Systems
RADAM'07

19th - 22nd June 2007
The Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin, Ireland

The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) will be hosting the 2007 Annual Conference on Radiation Damage in Biomolecular Systems (RADAM’07) in Dublin, Ireland from 19th-22nd June, 2007. This conference series, launched in 2004, is the major conference of the European Science Foundation (ESF) Cooperation in Science & Technology (COST) Action in Physics P9 - Radiation Damage in Biomolecular Systems. This series of conferences seeks to promote the dissemination and exchange of scientific knowledge in the field of radiation effects in biomolecules.

With this announcement we would like to encourage the broadest participation of the worldwide RADAM community. The scientific program will cover the most recent developments in the broader field of RADAM physics. RADAM’07 will take place from the 19th to the 22nd of June 2007 at the RCSI which is situated in the heart of Dublin City Centre.

We look forward to seeing you in Ireland in June 2007.

Session Topics:

  • Electron and Biomolecular Interactions
  • Ions and Biomolecular Interactions
  • Radiation Damage in Physiological (Cellular) Environments
  • Theoretical Developments for Radiation Damage
  • Track Structure in Cells
