The photograph below shows the current state of the ASTRID2 ring. The photograph is updated every night.
June 2012: Now that the radiation wall has been constructed there will very little activity in this photo until we start construction of the beamlines later in 2012.

By clicking on one of the links below you can view a video showing the construction progress of the ring.

• There is a short 30 second film which shows the complete construction of the ring from the beginning of 2011, when the ring hall was empty, until the ring was enclosed with a concrete wall in May 2012. This video was used at the ASTRID2 inauguration in September 2012.
• The longer films show the daily progress of the construction and have been split into separate files according to year. The film for 2012 was last updated: 15th May 2012. The 2011 film shows the progress of the building of ASTRID2 throughout 2011.

Some of the files are quite large.
