Week 4, January 22, 2002.
Status of the ring: The ring is continuing to run well, with increasing beam current and lifetime (~160 mA, 17h) . We have chosen to run at a slightly different RF-frequency, in
order to position the beam more accurately in the ring. Please report any problems with the beam to us!
Beamlines: The only problem is a defective power supply for a motor control unit on SGM I. It has been fixed temporarily, but should be replaced. Otherwise, the monos are ready
to run. The UV1 has a new LiF window, thereby extending the range to 113 nm.
