Week 51, December 18, 2001.
Status of the ring: We are still running a variety of ions for the electron cooler group. Just now, we are running SO2-, which is not as simple as we had expected due to
contamination by O4- and S2-. The effect of different ion source pressures and cathode materials is now being investigated.
The ion run will end this week. Just after the holidays, we will start the changeover to electron run 1/2002.
The microtron is running again, after a tune-up of the 3GHz oscillator.
