ISA meeting

Week 35, August 28, 2001.

Status of the ring: The ring has been running well during the past week. Typical currents after acceleration are 160-170 mA, with lifetimes around 25h.

The CD-setup on the UV1 monochromator has seen the expected signal increase of around 10 after installation of a new lock-in amplifier.

On the SX-700, the new tantalum sample holder has been mounted, making higher temperatures possible. A small sample can now be heated to around 1200 deg, a 300 deg increase compared to the old copper holder.
