ISA meeting

Week 9, February 27, 2001.

Status of the ring:Operation of ASTRID is still satisfactory with initial currents close
to 200 mA. Yesterday there was again a large beamloss in connection to
a change of undulator gap. This morning the chromaticities were changed
to +2 in both planes in order to try to get a more stable beam.

SX-700: The power-amplifier board controlling a mirror motor in the SX-700 was
repaired in Müünchen last week and the mono is now back in operation.

Microtron: The HV modulator for the microtron is being modified in an attempt
to avoid the internal sparks that has occured recently.

ELISA is still running with fullerenes with laser interactions before
changing to the electro-spray source later this week.
