ISA meeting

Week 34, August 22, 2000.

Status of the ring: The ring has been running very well. Our stored current has been increasing, with a maximum to now of 194 mA. Lifetime and stability is good.

Monochromators: The first absorption spectra ( of N₂O )have been recorded successfully on the UV1, showing good resolution.
The unduline has been set up with Al²⁺, to study the photoionization cross section (Al²⁺ to Al³⁺ )
The X-ray microscope is running well.

S.A.L.A. - "Synchrotrons, Accelerators and Laboratory Astrophysics" will be held at IFA during August 30 - September 1. See info on http://www.isa.au.dk/sala/index.html.
