ISA meeting

Week 13, March 28, 2000.

Status of the ring:The stored currents in the ring during the past week have generally been around 150-160 mA. We have some problems with the RF-system. There seems to be less amplification than normal. We will continue to try to find the cause. DF has noted some slow (15-60 sec) beam fluctuations. If you see anything like that on your beamline, please let us know.

Beam during Easter? : Since the current electron run has been extended until Sunday April 30, we would like to know, if anyone wants beam during the Easter holidays (Thursday to Monday, April 20-24). If so, please tell , or .

The UV1 monochromator gratings have been exposed, and are now in Scotland for etching. If everything goes well, we should have them next week!

ELISA has been baked, with the new cylindrical bends in place. It will be tested as soon as possible.

The control system presently has some communication problems, which cause some downtime. TW will look at the problem.
