ISA meeting

Week 33, August 17, 1999.

Status of the ring: The ring has been running well with currents around 140 mA and lifetimes of 25-35 hours. We still experience a ceiling around 140 mA. We have been trying to change settings to avoid it, but so far without much success.
Next Monday (23/8), all the cooling water in the old ring hall will probably be shut off for most of the day, because we will switch to the cooling system in the new hall. We will let you know as soon as we know exactly when the shut-down will occur.

The SGM-1 and SX-700 beamlines have been running well, and the microscope will start this week

The ring will be closed next Monday, due to modifications in the cooling water system. We hope to be able to run again late afternoon. See the status page for details.
